What does "per seat" mean?

One seat = one licensed GOPLC runtime instance. If you run 3 PLC instances (e.g., one boss + two minions), you need 3 seats.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. GOPLC runs in a 2-hour demo mode without a license. Full functionality, no restrictions — it simply requires a restart after 2 hours. This lets you evaluate every feature before purchasing.

Do licenses require internet connectivity?

Yes. Standard licenses use cloud-based activation and require an internet connection. Offline licensing is available for air-gapped commercial and enterprise deployments.

What platforms are supported?

Linux x86_64 is available now as a self-contained binary packaged with Node-RED. ARM64, Windows, and Bosch ctrlX CORE snap packages are coming soon.

Do I need to bring my own AI API keys?

Yes. AI features use your own API keys for Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI, or Ollama (free, runs locally). GOPLC doesn't charge for AI usage — you pay your AI provider directly, or use Ollama for free.

What does "lifetime license" mean?

Your license never expires — the runtime is not time-limited. Future updates and new features are not included and may require a separate purchase.
